Mr. Zhang Zizhong (born August 1969) is an exemplary Wenzhou entrepreneur from Rui’an, Zhejiang. He currently serves as Chairman of Zhejiang Sanzheng Tourism Supplies Group Co., Ltd., while also holding key social roles such as Vice President of the Panama Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of the Taoshan Federation of Industry and Commerce.

 

As an early pioneer of taking “Made in China” to the global stage, he has led Sanzheng Group to raise the banner of China’s luggage manufacturing across more than 80 countries, embodying the core values of integrity, innovation, synergy, efficiency, and shared growth, and writing a new chapter in the spirit of Wenzhou entrepreneurs.

 

In 1993, on the streets of Beijing, the 24-year-old Zhang carefully installed a crystal lamp in his own small shop—marking the beginning of a traditional first-generation Wenzhou entrepreneur’s story. After eleven years of hard work, he and his wife made a bold decision in 2004 to travel to Ghana. From a tiny luggage wholesale counter, he leveraged the courage to “dare to be the first” and successfully opened the African market.

 

He returned to Zhejiang in 2007 to establish his first company, and in 2018 completed the transformation into a full corporate group. Today, Sanzheng Group operates a 200,000 m² intelligent manufacturing facility equipped with 35 modern production lines, earning its reputation as a benchmark in China’s luggage industry.
